Paid Vacation Bill - More Fuel on the Recession Fire
Since the Democrats have taken control of both houses and the White House they have taken every possible opportunity to throw fuel on the recessionary fire. This fire would have been extinguished long ago had a conservative won the white house. The stimulus bill, the omnibus spending bill, the huge budget, the continuing bailouts, the overall uncertainty of the market have all acted as gasoline on a bomb fire. Yet they are not done, now they want to burden US Businesses with even more overhead per employee, causing even more layoffs. They want force every U.S. Business to guarantee 1 - 2 weeks of paid vacation for businesses that have over 100 employees..
To that I say stay the hell out of my business! Alan Grayson, with little gray matter, of Florida, keep your socialist ass out of my life.
The side effects of this idiots bill - more unemployment, more businesses afraid to hire because they don’t know what is next from these socialist. Businesses currently at 85-90 employees have no reason to grow over 100 employees as their benefit cost will go through the roof. (most business already give vacation time, the ones that don’t probably can’t afford it.)
I addition, imagine you have a business with 105 employees, you can’t afford the paid vacation time. What do you do? Oh, I have an idea, layoff 6 people.
