Get Off Your Ass America

Unemployment and job losses are cutting across all sectors of the Economy from Retail to House Keepers, from Skilled Trades to IT Professionals. 

With that in mind, my question to YoMama (Obama wants to be everyone’s mother, YoMama rhymes with Obama. Please keep your racial emails out of my inbox) is this. If all areas of the economy are loosing jobs,  what exactly are you going to retrain the unemployed to do? 

… I hear that there are opening at the IRS for collections and enforcement.

Socialism does not work. The government is scaring the US Capitalist out of the job creation market. I personally could hire people today, I do not because I do not know what regulations, taxes, punishment is coming down the pike from this president and this congress. I am a committed anti-socialist, but I am a capitalist on the sideline until the tenor in Washington moves to the right.

As the July 4th holiday (independence day!!!!) draws near thought are turning to the tea parties. On the surface it appears to be a great day to have this event. On deeper inspection this date may backfire. I know that I love independence day, it is my favorite holiday. I like to spend it with friends, family, a BBQ grill and a cold adult beverage. Many of us conservatives have traditions on the 4th. We are not like are lazy lib friends who don’t understand the importance of the day.

I am worried that this next series of tea parties will be a dud just because a lot of true believers will be celebrating our country and not protesting a bunch of weak politicians in Washington.

Please let me know if you will celebrating independence with friends and family or protesting the losers in D.C. - I am very interested in knowing.

Until then, tell every liberal you know to get off their ass.

To be an American Conservative is to love this country for all of the glorious things this young country has accomplished, and has yet to achieve.

To be a Conservative is to know right from wrong and try as you might to do what is right.

To be a Conservative is to wish for every person to achieve beyond their wildest dreams but not beyond their efforts.

To be a Conservative is to want to protect innocent life, and to punish those who seek to destroy innocence.

To be a Conservative is to understand our Country’s founding, and to appreciate the wise men that set the stage for its success.

To be a Conservative is to be generous and compassionate to those who genuinely deserve it, and to shun those who simply want a handout.

To be a Conservative is to be a person who lives by values and standards.

To be a Conservative is the only way to earn success in this country, for no person improve their station in life by being a liberal unless they are a politician.  Interestingly enough, most that become successful beyond their abilities do become liberal.
